An energy solution for a natural gas pipeline company. We linked a pipeline company and
its producers with nominated and scheduled volumes.
How we built this link
When Red Cedar Gathering wanted to modernize its web solution to improve the customer experience,
as well as implement new interactive tools for monitoring nominations volume usage, DataCom
analyzed their current process and developed a solution to achieve this. And, as the relationship
has grown, the team has worked together to continuously improve processes and respond quickly to
ever-changing business and industry demands.

- Maintain and update pipeline data including delivery points, receipt points and interconnects
- Maintain and update downstream contract information and transmission agreements
- Enter and maintain customer/producer details
- Reconcile metered against nominated volumes and generate imbalance reports
- Review submitted nominations, make changes, and accept or reject user entered nominations
- Look at all nominations in a grid based on user specified criteria
- Update nominated and scheduled volumes within the grid
- Send automated e-mails to users regarding the status of their submitted nominations
